“I’m not a child anymore” Russell’s determination to return to LAL

Russell is back with the Lakers.

D’Angelo Russell of the Los Angeles Lakers had an interview with ESPN on the 11th (Korean time). Russell shared his thoughts on returning to the Lakers.

Russell was drafted by the Lakers with the 2nd overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.

At the time, the Lakers were in total trouble. Russell, too, did not show his full strength. Due to his lack of athletic ability and unstable shooting ability, Russell was traded to the Brooklyn Nets after only two seasons with the Lakers.

Russell’s potential blossomed in Brooklyn. Russell, who was reborn as Brooklyn’s ace and assault leader, averaged 19.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 6.3 assists in Brooklyn uniforms. In the process, he enjoyed the honor of being selected for the first time in his career as an All-Star.

After going through the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves, he returned to his first team, the Lakers, on the 9th.

Russell said, “I was selected as an All-Star and led my team to the playoffs. Personally, I have done a lot. I came back to the Lakers with these footsteps. I think I can help the team a lot.” 먹튀검증

Russell shared a meal with Kobe Bryant during his rookie season. Now he works with new superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

“If you play with a player like LeBron James, it’s really easy to play the game,” said Russell. “It’s the same with Anthony Davis.”

“I believe in my skills, so I know I can play in any position,” he added.

When Russell was a member of the Lakers, he clearly left regrets. He also caused controversy over his personal life and showed an immature appearance. But now Russell is different. He’s ready to hit the court for the Lakers’ rebound.

Russell concluded the interview by saying, “I’ve become an adult. I’m not a child anymore. I’m excited to be able to show this side of myself to my fans.”
