Jeonnam to play FA Cup home games against Ulsan “without regrets”
Jeonnam Dragons meet K League 1 leaders Ulsan Hyundai in the FA Cup.
Jeonnam welcomes Ulsan to the Gwangang Football Stadium at 7 p.m. on Nov. 24. It’s the fourth round (round of 16) of the 2023 Hana OneQ FA Cup.
Ulsan is led by head coach Hong Myung-bo and boasts a squad that includes several former and current South Korean national soccer players, including Lee Cheong-yong, Kim Young-kwon, Cho Hyun-woo, Kim Tae-hwan, and Seol Young-woo. They are the defending K League 1 champions for the 2022 season.
Having lifted the trophy four times in the past, Jeonnam will be looking to build on their 2-1 win over Ulsan in the 2021 FA Cup semifinals to ensure they have no regrets.
Events have also been organized. Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority, a smart comprehensive port with the people, has sponsored generous prizes for spectators at the match. Tickets for the fourth round of the FA Cup can be purchased in advance on Jeonnam’s official website, and on-site tickets will be available two hours before kickoff.
