Kim Na-young teed off in the second round of the Lotte Open (total prize money 800 million won, winner’s purse 144 million won) at BearsBest Cheongna (par 72, 6,725 yards) in Incheon, South Korea, on April 2.
Kim, who was making her second appearance in a regular tour event, was born in 2003 and joined the KLPGA in June 2021 at a height of 176 centimeters.
Kim, who usually receives a lot of attention for her model-like height, revealed that she actually likes Nelly Coda as a golfer. “I watch her videos a lot, and nowadays I hear that we have similar backswings. I’m working hard and hoping to play with her on the LPGA someday,” she said. 먹튀검증
Kim participated in seven Dream Tour events in 2023, finishing second, third, and fourth once each. She finished second in the second round of the MC Square Gunsan CC Dream Tour in April, third in the fifth round of the KLPGA 2023 Dream Tour in May, and fourth in the SBS Golf Open Dream Tour in March, and is aiming for a spot on the 2024 regular tour with her steady improvement.
“I was looking forward to the Lotte Open because the course, Bears Best Cheongna, is fun and I was able to hit the ball well,” Kim said.
Teeing off on the 10th tee at 13:10 in the second round with Lee Ji-hyun 7 and Park Joo-eun, Kim shot a 71 with three birdies and two bogeys. It wasn’t a bad score, but it was one birdie and three bogeys short of her first round total.
Her second round total of 145 was 1-over par from the cut threshold of 144.
After missing the cut, Kim smiled with a positive attitude, saying, “I think I finished the tournament with a lot of disappointment because my putter, which I trusted during the tournament, didn’t work well. Through this tournament, it became clear what I need to improve in the future, so I will work harder to prepare for that, so I am looking forward to the next tournament.”

Kim will compete in the second tour starting on July 4.
Meanwhile, in the final four rounds of the KLPGA Tour’s Lotte Open (total prize money of 800 million won) on Thursday, Choi Hye-jin recorded three birdies and four bogeys for a 1-over par 73.
With a final total of 14-under par 274, Choi won the tournament by two strokes over runner-up Jung Yoon-ji (23-NH Investment & Securities).
“I think it’s the first time I’ve won in three years, and my goal was to win a sponsored tournament, so I’m happy to have accomplished that,” Choi said with a wide smile.
The long silence made her impatient. “Honestly, when I had a chance, I felt impatient, and when I couldn’t do it, I felt less confident, and I wondered if I could do it again. With this win, I feel like I can do it again.”
