The widening WAR gap between Kim and Akuña…Kim 5.8, Akuña 6.4
Ha-Sung Kim, who is tied with Ronald Acuña Jr. (Atlanta Braves) for the National League bWAR lead in Major League Baseball (MLB), is in a slump.
Kim is just 3-for-17 in four games after a 16-game hitting streak ended. He did find some life again on April 16, going 2-for-5 against the Baltimore Orioles.

While Kim has been slumping, Mookie Betts (Los Angeles Dodgers) has been hitting like crazy.
Betts has gone 15-for-15 with seven homers in his last four games. His WAR has risen to 5.8. He’s now equal to Kim Ha-Sung.
Meanwhile, Shohei Ohtani (Los Angeles Angels) remains atop the MLB bWAR leaderboard with 9.0.
